Isolated Change Gear Mechanism for 20/25.

We note that on this Standardisation Sheet which we have received from costing, the increase per chassis due to this improvement is £4.11.4d. The original scheme on the Bentley, however, cost only £2. 4. 1d., so that the modifications made to this arrangement between the original and the final scheme appear to have increased the cost by £2. 7. 3d.

From looking at the drawing we cannot understand how this increase is arrived at, and shall be glad to have your comments. In the meantime, as the part is urgently required, we are not holding up the Standardisation Sheet.
