| To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. 240 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.15/AP.9.7.37 We are standardising the Bentley radiator with fixed shutters for M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} series - this of course necessitates a thermostat scheme for controlling the water temperature. We have run a scheme to LeC.3488 (with minor modifications) 15,000 miles on 3.B.1V. car, but would prefer to standardise the scheme outlined on Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}415 attached and are running this scheme on 6.B.1V. car in France. Could you let us know as soon as possible the latest date at which the parts effected by the adoption of either of these schemes must be released for Production, so that we know how long we have in which to decide on the scheme to be used.
