X.6028. 48 COIL ARMATURE DYNAMO WITH INCREASED CONCENTRIC AIR GAP.

In connection with the improvement of the output characteristics of the above type of machine, we wish to try the effect of an increased concentric air gap.

For this purpose we are sending to you 48 coil dynamo SSX, and we should be pleased if you will have the pole pieces on this machine bored out, concentric with the armature, sufficiently to increase the radial air gap to .030". The present radial air gap should be .022" so that the increase in the gap should be .008" on the radius.
