PH.111 HAND BRAKE LEVERS.

With reference to your note Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM{Anthony F. Martindale}5/R.15.12.36 on the above, your statement is correct and the discrepancies referred to are brought about by the inaccuracies which arise in the machining of key-ways in the respective pieces.

Steps are being taken to produce reliable fixtures to ensure that the position of the key-ways will be correct and action is also being taken to correct all cars on test in the Erecting Bay.

We are pleased that you brought this to our notice and would welcome any criticisms of this nature which will enable us to raise our Standard of Production.

RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}
