EXHAUST HEATED THROTTLE.

Cars despatched to America will be fitted with an exhaust heated throttle. This takes the place of the water heated throttle fitted to cars up to E.2B series in England.

The exhaust heat is taken from No.4 cylinder exhaust port, through the head to a cast iron hot-spot. It is lead from there to a separate silencer.
