Castres, Carcassonne, Narbonne, Beziers, Nimes, Avignon.
Some climbing and snow. Roads mostly good, some very bad stretches.
Car generally running well.
Engine pinking badly.
Shock absorbers appear to have worn or worked out of adjustment. Will be readjusted.
Indicator of petrol gauge remains fixed if cover glass is screwed hard down.
Controls in steering column rattling badly.
Cutout control inoperative, probably due to caked mud.
