| -2- The samples which you mention have not yet arrived, but when they are to hand examination will doubtless give us some useful ideas as to the severity of the service under which these blocks operate. I shall send off the sample block mentioned in my letter LEM/NGH.5 of the 13th inst. to reach you not later than Monday morning, and I shall be glad to hear from you as to your exact requirements in the matter of free length and rating.
