To Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X1331 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/T7.4.24. BUMP TESTS - 40/50 FRONT BRAKES. X1331 X9940 We are sending to you the broken worm tube. This is the first example we have known of such a failure on the bump test. There does appear to have been a slight flaw in it. We note your suggestion re the cross steering lever. At the present time we are struggling with an axle to get the steering lock as specified on the drawings. To do this, we are having to file levers considerably. The front bracket of the tie bar had 4 bolts. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
