Dear Sirs,

"E.M.C.H" CASE-HARDENING STEEL.

In reply to your letter of the 31st. ult. We have requested our Openshaw Works to send you a sample of the above named steel, for test, and would be glad to receive your comments after you have experimented with same.

The steel contains Carbon 0.12% Sulphur 0.010%, and Phosphorous 0.006%, and is manufactured with sufficient care to guarantee absolute uniformity.
