CRANKCASE AND BEARINGS.
---------------------

Will you kindly instruct the Experimental Department and issue the necessary drawings for them to fit a special white metal alloy composed of zinc and aluminium RR alloy in place of the white metal for both main bearings and connecting rods (big ends).

The material will not be run into steel shells, but the bearings will consist of new material throughout.

Both the 20 HP. and 40/50 HP. which are being got ready for the next 10,000 mile test-run in France should be fitted up as above, and in addition must have nitralloy crankshafts fitted.
