re.DIPPING HEAD LIGHTS. 4555

We are about to consider the design of head lamps for E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} A.{Mr Adams} C. 2., and would like to know what are your present views on the subject of dazzle, and whether you wish to dip or dim the lights.

We have designed and experimented with a scheme for dipping the head lamps on Goshawk, and we prefer this scheme to any other on the grounds of its lightness, cheapness, and better mechanics, together with light and facile operation.

If you wish to have dipping head lights on E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} A.{Mr Adams} C. 2., we propose to fashion them on Goshawk lines.
