CHANGING THICK LEAF SPRINGS TO THIN LEAF TYPE. With further reference to BJ5/H25.1.24, this applies to all complaints of thick leaf springs. The majority of complaints I have heard of that we could not overcome except by changing the springs have been due to squeaking. It is for that reason I specially mentioned squeaking. If a customer has used his car satisfactorily for two years without complaint, one is inclined to think that the only reason he is now asking for a change is because he has heard someone else has got something for nothing. Of course, special circumstances may arise, which you may wish to place before the Administration for special consideration, but the above is the general ruling. B.J. | ||
