Engine detonations becoming objectionable during a 10,000-mile test on a 20/25 model.

I see from the daily reports that attention is drawn to detonations.

The report dated the 23rd, total miles run to that date 9754 specially says: "Detonations are now becoming objectionable when accelerating up to full throttle."

I should like to have your views in regard to this from the point of view of whether this is abnormal after this distance.
