R.R. 235 B (200 T) (S.E. 527. 21-2-18) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2129 X.496. To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from EH. EHL/LG.181118. 18th Nov. 1918. X.496 X.2565. RE CHASSIS RADIATOR Just before the War, it was agreed that the round tube Marston Radiator should be fitted to the future chassis. This radiator was tested by the Expl: Dept: for efficiency and was also tested on the bumping rig for strength. It proved to be superior in all ways to the square tube Orme Evans Radiator. Mr. Royce also agreed that this type of radiator should be standardised. The post-war chassis' should certainly be fitted with this type of radiator. EH. | ||
