CONDITION OF BEARINGS.
Well lubricated. Some wear bearing and pin.
Well lubricated. Oil on shackle pin ample. Bearings O.K.
Well lubricated. Ample oil on anchorage.
Well lubricated. Generous supply of oil - bearings O.K.
Scant oil on shackle pin but bearings O.K.
Well lubricated. Shackle pin oiled plentifully.
Well lubricated. Pin and bearings O.K.
No lubrication. Pin badly worn. Drip plug failure.
Signs of oil plentiful. Well lubricated. Bearings O.K.
Lubrication O.K.
Lubrication appears ample.
Well lubricated. Top contact shews signs of wear.
Well lubricated. Top contact shews signs of wear. Ball ends polished on axle.
This is not the latest arrangement, and feed to the ball end up the anchorage triangle is not enough. Ball end almost seized on O.S. - no oil. N.S. some oil but very stiff. Latest arrangement overcomes these difficulties. Anchorage spindle signs of oil scanty on either side. See report after 10,000 miles.
Oiled liberally - bearings good.
