-2- Jnr.{Charles L. Jenner}10/JH.17.5.40. (5) Is the surface of the valve carbon concious? (6) What fails when the engine is put on detonation tests. (7) Starting and tick over. (8) The cooling of the spark plug appears to be simplified by the virture of the valve masking the head during part of the stroke. I think our problems will be a satisfactory design for a silent valve gear also the flywheel effect of all the valves operating at the end of the drive shaft, or chain should be dealt with by a spring drive. This mass is considerable when closing down suddenly. Jnr.{Charles L. Jenner} | ||
