RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. c. By c. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL. X6009. EFC5/AD23.5.30. X.6009. CELLULOSE LACQUERED CAMBRIC COVERED MACONITE H.T. CABLE. We have now obtained a further quantity of the above H.T. cable of size and arrangement suitable for chassis. This represents a considerable improvement over the original lot received, i.e. it embodies the improvements which are incorporated in similar cable obtained for the "R" aero engines. The lacquer treatment is better and the overall diameter has been suitably reduced so that the difficulty of drawing this cable through the tubes should not now arise. Will you please arrange for L.H. chassis 25-EX, which we understand is to be considered as an experimental car, to be fitted with this cable. This cable should also be fitted to 20/25 chassis 18-GIV. We would like to point out that the amount of cable is only comfortably sufficient for these two chassis and care should be taken to cut the lengths without undue waste. EFC. Completed. | ||
