X6009 5.4.30. Extract from Mr.Hancock's report on 14-GIV after 14,000 miles. HIGH TENSION WIRES. CELLULOSE LACQUERED CAMBRIC COVERED MACONITE H.T. CABLES. It was necessary to remove the special cable to fit the set of Lodge plugs sent out, due to the wires being too short for the connection. We however have previously reported that the insulation of this wire is very poor, and we should not recommend the use of this cable for standard purposes. | ||
