X4429 FIRTHS SPRINGS FOR GOSHAWK 11. X4261 X4262 It will take us at least three months to prove Firths springs. If we come across any serious trouble with them, of course, it will take longer. We consider it is essential that if Firths springs are going to be used on Goshawk, we should be testing them now. It appears to us to be a waste of money to be testing Woodheads springs which we are not likely to use. If Firths have promised to deliver us springs by the 1st. of January, then we certainly think it is time they gave us samples of springs to prove. As regards whether Firths should provide us with temporary springs, we think they are in the best position to judge. Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
