PN.{Mr Northey} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Y9946 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG26.1.24. Y9946 [crossed out] X677 We should like you to consider whether, when we obtain the trip-tyque for 46-PK, that it should include taking the car into Italy. So far it is only obtained for France. From our tests, our impressions is, that the brakes which we shall fit to your car will behave reasonably satisfactory for ordinary road work, but if they are once very severely used so that the servo becomes over-heated, they will then give trouble both from wear and unequal braking. We have never met any mountain roads round Grenoble which compare with the Italian and Austrian roads. As the car will be very near the district, we recommend that you consider testing the car on hills such as - Stelvio. The car should be loaded to the maximum when the tests are being made.
