REAR BRAKE EQUALIZER - B.V.

The attached sketch shows the method of obtaining universal action on the rods leading from the rear equalizer. This was introduced on B.V. for simplicity and reliability. It was copied from P.III.

It is apparently a new idea for dealing with the many motions of the rear brake rods, and has so impressed New Hudsons that they want to copy it. They have asked if it is patented.

Will you say if this particular construction, as applied to the known type of rear equalizer, can be patented. It may seem a trivial thing to protect but sometimes these simple things are the most valuable.

If we are going to Patent it, we must do so quickly or it will be on New Hudson production.
