ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: E.Y.B. Order No. WB{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell} 102 Customer's No. X8793 Lucas ER6 magnetos. We have received from the makers two further Lucas type ER6 magnetos Nos. 53 and 54b for test. These have now been given a short acceptance test and are considered quite OK for fitting to experimental chassis. (Fully advanced) The high speed sparking was as follows:- No 53 - 3400 rpm No 54b - 3600 rpm and the low speed sparking:- No 53 No 54b Advance 90 rpm. 75 rpm Central 130 " 115 " Retard 170 " 155 " Signed H.E.W.
