Dear Sirs,

For attention of Mr.Whitehead.

Car Starter Batteries.

Further to your letter reference Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}13/NJ8126 of the 8th instant, we beg to confirm the arrangement made with the undersigned on his visit to your Works today.

We will, as requested, put in hand a standard battery for the 40/50 chassis, provided with threaded rubber separators, in order that you may continue your experiments with this design. Some little time will of necessity elapse before we can send the battery, as the separators are of a special size, but we will avoid delay as far as possible.

It is understood that the cells will be sent so that you can couple in series any desired combination, and that in all the six cells supplied by us, the ribs on the face of the threaded rubber separators will be placed against the positive plate.

Yours faithfully,

THE CHLORIDE ELECTRICAL STORAGE COMPANY LTD.

(Sgd) E.C.McKinnon.

Chief Engineer.
