SELF-DRAINING AUTOVAC FLOAT WITH LARGER STEM AND VENT HOLES. Origin. To enable self-draining action to cope with temperature effect which makes present self-draining float inoperative. Experimental Test Report. Self-draining action of float cannot be made to fail under considerably higher temperatures than are ever attained on the car. Road Test Report.
