Dear Sirs,

RE FOUR LIGHT SALOON. BENTLEY "A". (Peregrine)

We enclose herewith a specification of the four light saloon body which you are building for us for the Bentley "A" Model Chassis. You will note that we would like delivery at the latest by five weeks after the official order which you will receive from our Sales Dept.

The writer proposes to call on you on Thursday next to see the full size drawing in a semi completed state and to discuss with you certain cheapening and lightening features mentioned in the specification which are not your normal practice on bodies for our cars. It is essential that the total weight of the coachwork and all the chassis accessories such as lamps etc, should not exceed 8.cwt. We would welcome from you any suggestions for attaining this result.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.

H.I.F.Evernden.
