BODIES FOR 'JAPAN 3'.

We suggest that consideration should be given to the bodies for these cars in the early stages, especially as it is expected that the economies which are being made on the chassis will be carried through on the coachwork.

For some considerable time now all our experimental 25 HP. bodies have been made with a subframe, although this has not been adopted to standard.

At the present time we have mixed views as regards the advantages of the subframe. These are being confirmed by tests on Phantom ll. The bodies that are made for 'Japan 3' should be made without subframe.

According to the programme, two experimental cars should be ready in June and also a further six chassis will be ready during July. We do hope that consideration will be given with these bodies so that they will not fall to pieces the same as the present bodies do on the 10,000 miles test.
