'SS{S. Smith}' OIL PRESSURES. X. 7010 X. 7060

With reference to E1/M15.2.29. on starting up the SS.{S. Smith} engine from cold and running at approx. 500 r.p.m., the oil pressures attain the following max. values.

High 32.0 lbs/sq.in.
Intermediate 16.0 " " "
Low. 5.5 " " "

It is necessary for the engine to run approx. three minutes before these values are attained.
