S.S. CRANKSHAFT REAR OIL FLINGER.
We understand that when the above is made to the original LeC. design with the clearance at A.{Mr Adams} fig.1. as shewn on the drg. e.g. about .035", there is no oil leakage.
On the examples which were not satisfactory this clearance was found to be .1".

The double flinger as in fig.2. introduced to cure this leak has given absolute satisfaction, and we feel that although more complicated its larger margin of safety is worth having.
