WATFORD REVOLUTION INDICATOR.

We are sending into the Stores an experimental Bentley revolution indicator combined with clock which we are testing of Messrs.North's manufacture.

This instrument reads slow at 4,500 R.P.M. With the needle at 4,500 R.P.M. on the scale the actual revs are 4560. We require this instrument altering such that the revs are 4400 when the scale reading is 4,500 i.e. owing to the four to one gear ratio the instrument will be actually reading 4,500 when the instrument drive revs are 1,100. This makes the rev counter 2% fast which is in accordance with our limits.

Will you please arrange to despatch this instrument for the necessary alterations accordingly.
