20 HP. STEERING. X4764 K5476

With reference to Hn {F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} 's complaint on 20 HP. steering on Mr. G.D.Flather's car GMK.49.

The improvement with the front brake axle on the previous 20 HP. axle is no doubt due to the fact that on the old axle the steering was centre point and the front brake axle was .500 off centre-point.

Experimentally, we did produce 20 HP. axles of the type without front wheel brakes, which were .500 off centre-point. Such an axle was actually fitted to your car which you had in the south of France last year.

It has run 10,000 miles.

The other point, of course, would be to fit the lower geared steering. So far however we have had no experience with this on the 20 HP., although the parts are being made.
