will shortly receive.

At the same time we have impressed upon production, both office and shopp, the great desirability of very clean pressure contact connections in the ignition circuit wherever they occur, and particularly of the seven pressure contact connections between the ignition points and the condenser. More details of this, however, will be contained in the notes.

It has been maintained by some that dirting up of the contact breaker points is due to the presence of petrol vapour. Therefore we suggest this for consideration, there being a difference in the position of the ignition on the EAC. as compared with the 20 HP.

One possibility, though enquiry elicits no clear reason why this should be worse on the EAC. than on the 20 HP., is that the contact connection between the subauk contact breaker platinum point screw and its carrier is not as good as it should be, owing to the oxidised surface of the screw thread itself.
