Lucas Electrical Co.Ltd. Batteries Herewith I send you a letter from these people, dated 11th inst. which I regret has been overlooked in the pressure of other matters. I consider that we ought not to encourage these people to the extent of informing them that we are prepared to consider placing orders with them for batteries, subject to their being made to a specification which would meet our requirements. At the same time, I think we might possibly benefit by an exchange of ideas and if ultimately the Lucas Electrical Co. produce a standard battery which would meet our requirements, we might order one for trial.
