A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Rolls Royce Ltd, Derby England. Dear Mr. Robotham;- Replying briefly from the hotel before leaving tonight, to your kind letter of the 21st ultimo which was received during my absence from the city,- It is pleasing to know that tests thus far with our Valves are proving satisfactory and may lead to their consideration for original equipment. In view of this and other business developing, we would be very glad to learn of any British firm you consider suitable as a prospective licensee, and would also much appreciate having time saved if you would be kind enough to acquaint them with the subject and suggest that they communicate with us at once in event they are interested. You have doubtless by now received our letter of April 22nd, advising of further successful developments here in winning acceptance from manufacturers. We expect shortly to be free to make public some additional developments which have taken place this week and which are the most important thus far. The foregoing is said, not to capitalize unduly thereon, but in appreciation of your interest in the product, and the wish to keep you informed, in event you should wish to gain any advantage through being the first to adopt it in your market.
