10. AXLE. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} reported that the bits were being made to repeat the axle simplification test at present being carried out on 9-B-V.{VIENNA} Handwritten: Pieces for .6 hyphoid. All articles to be modified 11. PROPELLOR SHAFTS. It was agreed that the necessary tackle would be made to enable the propellor shaft with Rolls-Royce joints to be balanced and that this would then be fitted to one of our experimental cars. Handwritten: Bits being detailed. 12. GEARBOX BEARINGS. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} said that 12-B-V gearbox was getting noisy and, when we change the engine on this car, we can have a look at the crowded rollers and see how they are getting on. 13. GEARBOXES. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} expressed consternation because a new production box that had only done 350 miles on 3-B-50, had a second speed dog failure. This box is now being stripped and Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} should issue a report giving us the cause of the trouble. Handwritten: Report required 14. HEATERS AND DEFROSTERS. Clm.{D. D. Clapham} is now dealing with this job and will issue a report within the next few days. Handwritten: Repeat test in our light car. 15. WATER PUMPS & BUICK WATER PUMP. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Crs. and Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Col. will let Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} have a report on the tentative date for the completion of the water pumps. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GB. said that Wheeler can cast an insert in for the thrust bearing on the aluminium water pump and it was agreed that we should get some of these made up and run in parallel with the cast-iron pumps. Handwritten: Still want a date. 16. MYTH MODEL. It was stated that this will be ready for collection on Wednesday morning, Jan.8th. It was agreed that a car could go down and pick it up.
