Re Petrol Filters.

A recrudence of trouble due to accumulations of dirt in carburetters, autovacs, and petrol systems generally has caused CJ. to request that consideration of more adequate filters be revived at the Sales Conference next Tuesday.

It is desired to consider whether both the 40/50HP. Car and the 20-HP. car are any less reliable on this account than they should be or might be made. In the case of the 40/50 it is realised that we have abandoned a certain measure of our trustworthiness by not having a filter for ingoing petrol. Should this, in fact, be reinstated and should one be designed for the"20" ?

If you can let me have your views before Tuesday next I will attach them to the case which will be made up from complaints received and from the reports you gave BJ. earlier in the year when you were examining every filter on the cars that came in.
