Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X8005 BY7/G.7.1.29. PHANTOM - ENGINE SUPPORTING RUBBERS. MIX NO. 6. The six rubbers to compress .150 under 750 lbs. have been :- a/- Corrected to overall length. b/- tested. c/- Checked for general dimensions. We consider that these six rubbers are very good indeed. They are accurate to poundage, and after being corrected to free length are then correct to general dimensions. If the Dunlop Co. can work to this accuracy we should be out of our troubles. The Batch of 100 which were supposed BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} to be 500 lbs at .150 are nearer 750 By | ||
