Engine mounting issues and starting handle alignment following the fitting of new wings.

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} FILE 6. B. IV. The opinion of the drivers generally is that there is less movement of radiator and wings with the raised front mounting of engine. It must not be overlooked that new front steel wings in one piece with the running board have been fitted since the car was out here on the last test. The position that the engine settles to, in the mounting does not coincide with the starting handle location. To engage the starting handle, it is necessary to lever the engine into position. The front rubber control cups are not in line with the extended supports from the engine, which does not help matters. -------------- [Signature:] G.H.HancockR.
