Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 7th inst., and for the drawings enclosed, and note that you require two sets of main bearing blanks. We have issued instructions to the Works to produce the necessary quantity of material and anticipate despatching the blanks to you sometime next week. With regard to the question of your Official Order, if you address this to Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Derby, it will go through to the proper quarters automatically. Further to the writer's visit to you, we should be pleased if you could fill in the data chart enclosed, this will help us considerably since, as you know, different manufacturers have their own particular conditions of materials, oil flows and pressures etc. and we are trying when supplying bearings to line their conditions up as near as possible with own practice. May the writer take this opportunity of thanking you and Mr.Robinson for the courtesy extended to him on his recent visit and advise you that should you require any further assistance in the matter, he will be only too pleased to help in every way possible.
