The pull off spring of the brake pedal is secured at both ends by cap-washers and split pins, and at the frame end is an angle bracket with two bolts, nuts and washers, see Fig.I. The arrangement suggested in Fig.II would save - 2 Cap Washers 2 Split Pins. 1 Collar Pin. 1 Bracket. 2 Bolts nuts and washers. Plus the corresponding fitting time.
