Dear Mr. Robotham,

Confirming our arrangement yesterday, I am leaving my Bentley at the Lodge Works, Rugby, on Monday, October 1st., and shall be very much obliged if you could arrange for someone to collect it and deliver to Messrs. Park Ward's Works to have the body defects rectified. When Park Wards have finished with it I will arrange to collect the car from your London Depot and deliver it to you at Derby, unless in the meantime you can arrange for a driver to bring it to Derby. When you get the car at Derby I should be glad if you could have the squeaks in the springs attended to.

I should like to have the steering a little less heavy providing it still remains good at speed, also a little weaker spring in horn switch. At the same time could the petrol pump be checked in view of the trouble I had at high altitude on the passes.

I hope the ball thrust in rear axle and the exhaust valves are of the latest type, although the Repairs Dept. stated in their letter of July 25. last that when the car was in after my Alpine trip the valves were not examined, so possibly they have not been changed.

I trust I am not bothering you too much, and I shall appreciate anything you do to get these matters attended to.

Yours sincerely,
Bernard Hopps.

P.S.
I enclose a letter to Mr. Evernven re the bodywork, which I should be glad if you would forward as I am not sure of his address.
