R.R. 235A (100 T) (S.H. 159. 11-8-20) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2800 ORIGINAL TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Copy to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M5.10.25 INDIA REAR SQUEAK DAMPERS. X5570 Referring to the sketch of the method of arranging the squeak damper on existing cars without having to re-machine the drums etc, we agree to the method shewn on your sketch, namely, utilising the existing squeak damper cover as a retainer for the new damper. Presumably the thickness of the new damper shewn on your sketch is the same as the existing squeak damper. Presumably also the cover is split in order to get it on.
