Steadman X1328 Will you Please test Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} We are handing you herewith one Remote Acting Thermostat which we should be glad to have tested. We have written to the makers - H.M. Hobson Limited, to find out over what range of movement the operating bellows is supposed to function, and we will let you know their reply. It is important that the boiler element should be arranged vertically so that the exit from it is at the bottom and all experiments should be done with it in that position, or destructive internal pressures may be generated.
