Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ws. c to G/WH. c to G/Rb.{R. Bowen} 6116. Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/WW34/MW13.7.37. Chassis No.B.69-EJ - BY's Car o/No.81147. ----------------------- In confirmation of our telephone conversation of this morning, kindly note that the P.100-S. Head Lamps which were removed off the above-mentioned car when the new type lamps were fitted, were not returned to the makers. As far as we can trace we were not informed of any such arrangement when the job was done. We recently used one of the lamps for a job in the shop, and we have the other lamp in stock. We can do with this as a stock lamp and we consider that the best arrangement now will be to allow BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} suitable credit for the two P.100-S lamps. We understand this arrangement would be agreeable to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and we will, therefore, put the necessary papers to the Departments concerned. We understood you to say BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will pay Messrs Lucas direct for the two new Head Lamps now on his car. Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/WW. | ||
