Black Finish of Parts. Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}8/W161019.

Please see attached copies of correspondence relating to the Black finish of steering column controls. I shall be glad if you will let me have any suggestions you care to make. I thought some time ago that we should be led to arranging the slightly raised rim round all the parts where it wears bright and that this rim which would only be between .05 wide or less would be bright to start with and the black finished portion would thenbe protected from wear. The difficulty with this would possibly be the production of the parts in this form.
