XJ+1- To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} " Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}5/KT.19.6.33. We have been told that on certain high speed engines there is a tendency for the piston rings to collapse when certain speeds have been exceeded. We do not think that this is happening on our test bed units but a simple way of checking this is to keep a record of the crankcase pressure. This could be taken with the vent blocked up temporarily. Will you please let me see such figures as opportunity occurs. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
