Rolls Royce Ltd., Derby. 4th November 1936 YOUR REF. OUR REF. JNL/KM Dear Mr. Martindale, Confirming our telephone conversation of today, I shall be glad to receive from you a sample section of the drum liners which have been scored by S.5805. I would prefer at this stage to say nothing about it until I have had an opportunity of examining this metal. As regards the other matters in hand I have ascertained that the 8 pieces of GB.751 and GB.754 and the 4 pieces of GB.750 and GB.752 in quality S.6611 will leave here on Friday and a similar complete set in VM.20 will leave here at the beginning of next week. The 8 liners in S.5805 and BZ which you have returned here owing to confusion in stencilling have been sorted out and despatched again to you tonight. With kind regards, Yours very truly, FERODO LIMITED J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} N. Longley Chief Chemist & Director. | ||
