Reference Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}21/KW11.2.35, this matter was discussed at length at the S.C. to-day and it was decided that we should provide that the foot switch on all cars should operate the dip and switch scheme, and that the hand switch should operate the double dippers.

This is because it is felt that in the majority of cases people might prefer the offside headlamp out, and we believe that the foot switch is the more convenient way of operating the method that would usually be used.

We are anxiously waiting to hear from you as to the extra cost involved in this scheme, because we have decided to incorporate it as standard and make no charge to the customer, and we hope, and believe, that it will only be a matter of a few shillings per chassis.
