Dear Mr. Evinson,

Thank you for your letter of the 1st. inst.
I would recommend that you get Mr. Braithwaite to send
along a description and sketches of his apparatus.

There are instruments such as you describe
already on the market.

We think we should be putting Mr. Braithwaite
to unnecessary expense in coming to Derby because there
is very little chance of our adopting such an instrument.
We do not even supply speedometers with the chassis.

We should be quite please, however, to give
our opinion from the description.
