Mr Johnson, Below I give the cost per chassis of all the electricity used during the past twelve months - January 1911 - £9--0--9 February " - 9--7--6 March " - 9-14--3 April " - 7-19--0 May " - 6--4--0 June " - 7-13--0 July " - 6--7--0 August " - 6-12--0 September " - 7-12--0 October " - 7--1--0 November " - 8-16--0 December " - 10-10--0 January 1912 - 7-15--0 You will notice that the price fluctuates a great deal and although the price in January was somewhat below the average, the month before it was above the average. Thus, it is impossible to say whether the price is lower or higher than formerly. Mr Royce spoke some time ago of the possibility of putting down our own generating plant. At that time we obtained some particulars of the "Diesel" Engines made by Willans, but he did not then consider we had a sufficient demand to justify us (over) | ||
