Carrus, and all the material in same is of British origin with the exception of the bulb which at present is a German bulb marketed under the name Neron. The Carrus people in this country are experimenting with British bulbs, but at present the tests have not justified their use. The materials used in the lamp itself are supplied as under: Reflector & Casing ... Messrs. S.G.Swayne Goodmayes, Essex Front Glass ......... Messrs. Geo. Davidson & Co. Teams Glass Works, Gateshead-on-Tyne Cork Rings ......... Messrs. Armstrong Cork Co.Ltd Aldwych, London W.C.2 Armoured Cable ...... Messrs. Ward & Goldstone, Frederick Road, Pendleton, Manchester 6. and Messrs. Rinhams, Ltd Ramond Works, Victoria Rd, London N.W.10 Switches ........... Messrs. James Neale & Sons Ltd Graham Street, Birmingham and I am asking the Carrus Company to advise the terms under which they would supply, should we standardise same. ROY{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
